The Ins And Outs of How We Do Business
Seasonal plans cover the entire winter season, which is approximately five months (November to March). Pricing is per season, not per month, and includes service throughout the winter regardless of the number of snow events.
Our pricing includes licensed, insured service and clearing performed to municipal safety standards.
This means we don’t just push snow aside — we clear surfaces properly to reduce slip hazards and liability risks.
We carry commercial liability insurance to protect homeowners in case of accidental injury or property damage during or after service.
If a slip-and-fall incident occurs related to our work, responsibility is not transferred to the homeowner.
Municipal-standard clearing means sidewalks and walkways are cleared to a level that allows safe pedestrian access, minimizes compacted snow, and addresses ice-prone areas where required.
Basic sidewalk clearing focuses on snow removal.
Ice melt or de-icing treatments are applied to high-risk areas when included in the selected service or added as an optional upgrade.
Lower-priced services often operate without commercial insurance or formal standards. While they may clear snow, liability risks from slips or incomplete clearing may fall back on the homeowner.
